Great place to live. The original person who helped us move in, Josh, has been outstanding in accommodating whatever we needed. He has a great personality and knows the property really well. As a leasing agent, it is your job to know the property you work at, but Josh excel and goes above and beyond with the surrounding areas as well. We love bagels and Josh recommended a great bagel place and we go there religiously. He also suggested some great restaurants we should try in the area. Overall, great person, very knowledgeable, and he stays on top of things. I think he understood the assignment.

I do sometimes wish maintenance was on a higher level because I've never seen someone screw the window screens shut so there's not a gap, but their customer service and politeness is always appreciated. I like living here.

Apartment living can be challenging in large multiple unit buildings but Im so happy I ended up here at Union Place because the maintainance specialist, Nestor, is a top notch professional. He is always polite, calm and extremely professional. He has many different skills from electrical, plumbing and other issues that can be problematic in apartment living that he handles with ease. I feel comfortable living here knowing he can handle the job quickly and done righ the first time.....So here's a shout out to Nestor....Thank you so much!!!!!

My Boyfriend and I were going to move into the area and live here but we had a last minute change of plans, however I did want to comment on how helpful the staff are that work here and how nice the complex is. The apartment was BEAUTIFUL with a custom kitchen, high ceilings, walk in closets and private balconies. The sevrvice was OUTSTANDING (a special mention to OSCAR who gave us a full tour and nothing was too much trouble). The grounds were IMMACULATE with great ameneties including a fully equipped Gym and sparkling Pool.The close proximity of the trains is the only down side for some units but not a big inconvenience. 5 Stars

We love Union Place! The apartments are newer and well taken care of, the amenities are perfect for our needs, and the staff is our favorite part! The managers are personable, friendly, responsive and good communicators. The people here are friendly and respectful. We are so glad to be living here and highly recommend it! It’s a great place to call home.

I have lived here approx. 8 months. The maintenance workers are awesome, they are quick to do repairs and have had no issues with them. My apartment is beautiful. The train noise was explained to me very clearly prior to moving in and the first month was a transition but after that not a problem at all I am use to it, the apartment will shake but its not loud like others have mentioned. I have to be honest a lot of the reviews of anyone disgruntled seem to be over stuff they caused themselves. Not following parking rules or not following the terms of their lease. There is no guest parking but this wasn't an issue for us and we were aware of it before moving in. We have 1 garage and 1 assigned parking spot, that is all we needed. There is no need for security in my opinion it is a safe community, rules are at times broken by residents but that will happen anywhere you live, and if someone is parked in your spot call a tow truck they will gladly tow the inconsiderate person. For cons....residents with dogs ugghhh they make the hallways smell and no matter how many emails management sends it does nothing to correct this. First day after replacing all the carpets there was a soiled spot in front of one of the units. The many array of smells everyday is disgusting, it usually smells like a wet dog. Why isn't there an intercom system to call an apartment from downstairs? I don't have anything delivered to my home for this reason which is annoying to have everything shipped to my job and I cannot order pizza or use Grubhub. I don't know why the parking lots were paved, they were fine no potholes or anything it was just an inconvenience to residents. If the owners of the building want to spend money how about elevators or a better broiler system for hot water, it takes forever to get hot water to take a shower or wash dishes?? People park in front of their garages or in front of the hallway entry doors ALL the time its quite annoying when they are in the way of me coming and going, that kind of stuff is for single family homeowners and renters and not for an apartment. The pool and spa smell like chlorine badly, too much is being used. The spa is SOOOO small, its fit for two people and that's two people who don't mind being extremely close to each other. I also have gone their twice during a holiday weekend and it was closed, no signs and the pool and pool area looked clean, looks like someone doesn't do their job to open it on 3 days weekends, very annoying rent is way too high here to have any amenities closed. Their is an elderly couple downstairs in my building that is super rude too and their rent is way cheaper than everyone else's, makes me very mad! A new tenant was moving in and they told this poor family that they were too loud and if they didn't keep it down they would have them evicted like they did the last tenant. My cons I have to say are not bad at all, its typical apartment living and my family and I are very happy here. The unfortunate thing is this apartment complex is WAY overpriced and we have a feeling when our lease renews it will go up and force us to move, too bad we like it here and always pay are rent on time if not early.
